INGREDIENTS

  • 400 gr boiled chickpeas
  • 4 tbsp tahini
  • 2 or 3 garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Cold water as needed
  • Salt as needed
  • Paprika poeder for dusting

INSTRUCTIONS

In a food processor, add the drained and peeled chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic and salt, blend until smooth. With the machine running drizzle in 1 tbsp of cold water water at a time, until the hummus is silky smooth with adding more salt or lemon juice if needed.

To serve, drizzle it with a little olive oil and sprinkle it with paprika poeder. Sumac also works well.
